The African Institute of Contemporary Mission and Research (AICMAR) is an evangelical and inter-denominational institute. We are committed to promoting biblical preaching and advancing African evangelical scholarship.
AICMAR is based in Butere, Western Kenya, but serves the academic and spiritual needs of African theological colleges and church leadership throughout East Africa and beyond.
AICMAR works in co-operation with other organisations pursuing similar goals. It welcomes all scholars researching in the fields of Biblical Studies and Contemporary African Issues, together with leaders and preachers who wish to develop their understanding of the Bible and ability to share its message with others.
